The Small Barn is a cosy barn conversion ideally situated on a quiet country lane within easy
reach of many popular attractions. It offers very comfortable accommodation for up to 4 persons with a cot and high chair if required. One well-behaved pet is also welcome.
The accommodation comprises a fully fitted kitchen/diner with flagstone floor and exposed beams; a lounge with coal effect electric stove, exposed beams, TV/DVD player. There is a
ground floor shower room/wc. Upstairs is one double and one twin bedroom, both with exposed beams, plus a bathroom/wc, and an airing cupboard. Full oil-fired central heating and electricity are included in the price.
Outside there is a small secure lawned garden with shrubs and off-road parking for two vehicles.
By the river in Sutcombe you may well see kingfishers, as well as a heron, buzzards and brilliantly-coloured damselflies.
The self-contained village of Bradworthy with its shops and pub is only 2½ miles away. The larger market town of Holsworthy is 5 miles away, with its good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, etc.
Within a ten minute drive are the Tamar Lakes, where coarse and trout fishing, as well as various watersports are available. The safe and sandy beaches of Bude and North Cornwall are 12 miles away, as is the glorious coastal scenery around the Hartland Peninsula. Clovelly, Bideford and RHS Rosemoor Gardens are approximately 30 minutes drive away and Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor can all be reached within an hour.
